letter to the tyrant at 1600 pennsylvania

mr bush:
with all due respect for the office you hold for a few more months, we are appalled at your lack of respect for the people of this country.

you have lied to us for 7 years, called us unpatriotic if we didn't agree with you, cowed us with threats of enemy reprisal, spied on us, dishonored us in the eyes of our allies and the whole world, and made us all less safe by your shameless acts of aggression.
and all of it for your own economic, personal and political agendas and those of your cronies.
despicably, you have sent this country's mothers, fathers, sons and daughters to die in this war of your your own making and deceit.
you have spit on the constitution with your imperious signing statements and denigrated the oval office with your conspicuously juvenile behavior.
you have sacrificed religious freedom on the altar of electioneering, and if billy graham could have walked on the beach with you one more time even that modern prophet would have been speechless at your rampant and unrepentant evildoing and calling it 'faith-based.'
and now you are ignoring we the people who have demanded an end to this war and yet you are escalating it, sacrificing more lives to save your own worthless hide from disgrace.
it won't work.
your disgrace is second only to the dishonor you have brought this country.
stop.
turn around.
you have two years in which to redeploy our courageous troops out of harms way,
and then by the grace of God bring them home,
if you want even the smallest shred of dignity as you leave the post of commander-in-chief
of a once proud nation.
