and who is going to clean up this mess? the president has even more to answer for after his state of the union address tonight...including what was not there: any mention of katrina.

i believe the reason bush/cheney never had an exit strategy is...they never planned to exit. duh. surge or no surge, the game is to do whatever it takes to maintain permanent bases in iraq, invade iran, gain control over the oil and be big dog in the middle east.

actually, the next phase in the plan was laid out a couple of weeks ago, didja see that? it would make it ok for american oil co's to come in and 'develop' the iraqi oil and then to rake off 'up to 75% of the profits'...pretty much an in-your-face to the middle east as well as to the american public, you think?

if you were paying attention way back at the beginning, perhaps you'd remember that the reason osama bin laden's 'base' organization --hq'd in afghanistan-- had been trying to blow up american targets since 1991 was chiefly because our infidel desert storm boots were on their sacred soil. which was why we went to afghanistan. but we didn't get osama. for sure the invasion of iraq had nothing to do with anything but the combined lust for oil on the part of b/c's big oil friends, and the industrial/military 'complex' lust for power bases in the middle east.

that's why iran is next.
