npr: national public republican radio

This morning, five days before midterm elections
in the year that we either bring this outlaw administration to a reckoning
or we leave this country
'had to turn off npr for the first time ever
hearing this president quoted on rush limbaugh about the 2004 democratic candidate's quote
and not hearing kerry speaking his own words
did it for me
about kerry dropping out of all of his speaking engagements for the duration before the election, and nothing from the dems in defense of the truth of this incident
did it for me
after all of the other republican articles this morning
one after another
unrelieved red...
about the dewrags for vets without any comment on why the vets were maimed or killed in the first place because these dewraggers don't express political opinions
it just did it for me
about the student republican who is working 14 hours a day to get other students to vote republican
did it for me
i didn't want to NOT hear anything about what the young democrats were doing
if this is NATIONAL public radio, reflecting themes that are mostly red in our national public, then the next thing is going to be the fearful, sheeplike, dumbing down of npr because the republican base out there is fearful, sheeplike, and against thinking for themselves....

there is so much to mourn out there, but i never thought i'd see the day that npr would trade truthtelling for politics

we've been fleeced beyond embarrassment and been herded on down the road past stupid
