Here we are, 10 weeks or so out, our democrat-ish leaders are sounding cautiously upbeat about polls, but there is every possibility that those fragile numbers will turn to dust... already you can hear the rove machine revving up to spin the truth and lay rubber lies from here to yonder.... false red alerts well-timed leaks
...and you can count on 4 out of 5 of the mainstreammedia to play them and spin them ...of the media outlets that once numbered over 80, only 5 remain... big bidness said it is good to make as much money as possible -- now 4 out of the 5 big sms are 'free' to make money by pulling those dollars from the deep pockets on the right, so they spin to the right over and over and over until the lies blur into something that 'sounds-about-right' or is at least 'just as good as' the truth....
...as it is now, our jaded republican demockracy is soundlessly at work to suppress votes on the poor side of town, especially poor elderly, black, or disabled... even veterans... blocks of votes will be thrown out as invalid, and 4 voting machines--2 of which work--will be sent to handle 2 combined large black precincts while 20 voting machines are sent to each of the all white conclaves across town....


...the big oil bidness machines hold hands with the big msm machines and with the big religious machines and with the big political machines, all working in concert to maintain the power and the glory and the money and together they keep churning out shiny happy people,
who say jesus blesses them with the good life, and they go to church and they go to the polls and they vote their 'faith,' and they wave their flags and all drive their big suvs with a yellow support-the-troops ribbon on the back...
and they keep buying gasoline, like good consumers,
"can you buhLEEVE it's gone DOWN 40 cents? wow, isn't that just GREAT!" and the oil bidness smiles, and the political bidness smiles, and life is, indeed, so good

...they really think that way and believe that way and say those things... as if they're right and everybody else just doesn't get it because they're not born again....

If we do not free the people to vote, there will be very little freedom left for anyone to cry over because we have a president who has committed high crimes and misdemeanors. If we do not free the people to vote, the president's party will go on rubbing stamping this war, these tribunals without hope....

I already talked to God about it and She said it was high time to get with it...
